I am getting a Ps3 in a few days and i am getting 2 games any suggestions would help me allot and thanks.

Motor Storm
Resistance: Fall of Man
Ninja Gaiden Sigma
Virtua Fighter 5
Oblivion
Lair
Heavenly Sword
Note: Lair and Heavenly Sword isn't schedule for release until September.
I didn't include any sports games because I think they're a waste of money. It's only good for 1 year, and then there's a new game with new roster the very next year.
In case anyone doesn't know, Grand Theft Auto IV has been pushed back to Mar. 2008. Just got the call from Gamestop last night informing me of the change.

well the wisest choise would be to wait till november at the very least as the best games are going to be released after a few months take games like assassin's creed, heavenly sword, Darkness etc. not only that but as these games are released the true potential of the ps3 will be revealed. although it seems extremly tempting to buy HD games like harry potter and the order of the phoenix, the pirates of the caribbean and spiderman 3. but a good thing to do now is just wait rather than woe laterthat you could have got a much better game by just waiting a couple of months at tha max. till then you can spend time by playing old ps2 titles like san andreas or devil may cry on the ps3.

right now resistance fall of man is one of the best game for the ps3. if you wait this month their going to be lair and it being hype up to be one of the ps3 best game. gta come out in october and there will be a good amount coming in october but if we're talking about right now just get resistance that will keep you busy and hopefully you can experience the free online because resistance is also alot of fun online. i would also say if your in to sports ncaa 08 is awesome dude i have them both but i play resistance more because it just that addicting their madden coming out this month too but i don't think their going to be much of a difference as far as game play from the 07 version so i'm in debate to buy the game. here a link to the games coming out soon and later in the year...hope to answer you best you could also try rainbow 6 it a cool game i rented it and only play once but that because i didn't have much time to play it

I dont think there are any good games out( or anything that interests me anyway considerin the $60 gameprice tag) I bought mine before the price drop and I'm still waiting for some good games to come out. Mines still sitting in the box. I'm really looking forward to the next resident evil.....but thats a ways off

Pick two from Motorstorm, Resistance, Ninja Gaiden sigma, Virtua fighter, Virtua tennis or Oblivion, depending on your taste.
Although, once you get it you can download demos for some of those games and others from the PS shop.

I'd get Resistence: Fall of man, which is a future shooter, and ncaa football 08, which is college football, or wait for madden 08, which comes out this month.

TEKKEN6 is the best game ever on ps3 you have to get this game don't miss it, it is so so so so amazing fight game .... it's the best ever....
