yesterday when i went to the grocery store you could buy a Vairety 40 Pack of Rice Krisipies treats with 3 different flavors or you could buy a pack of 24 plain rice krisipie treats for a penny more?Why does it cost more for the plain pack?

it's called supply and demand. The regular one are more poplar so the store sells more of them, so they can sell them for a higher price. the flavor one don't sell as well so they have to sell them at a low price to move them off the shelve.

It is funny in a way but my guess is the supply and demand has been altered by the store so you will buy the 40 pack and when you try to buy it again then they will raise its price to where they desire it after they tried to lure you in. Also check the expiration dates and that might be a clue to as to why they would do this. They are only doing the consumer a favor because it comes with a "price" which the consumer usually pays for later.

that's marketing for you. They want to get rid of the cheaper one because it wasn't as popular
