You'll need professional help - lessons, informal class - something where you have human interaction. Violin is a lot different than say, piano - where you push the key and you're either right or wrong. There is a lot of ear training involved and if you don't have someone helping you out it will be very frustrating.

All that you have to do is go to google and type in this, how to play the violin and up will come hundreds of sites that you could go to !!!! Lots of luck, the violin is my second favorite instrument, classical guitar being my number one, maybe that's because that's what I play !!!!!!!!

Let me second that opinion - I am a music teacher since 1971. GET LESSONS!!!! Saves time, saves aggravation. You can actually HURT YOURSELF if you play incorrectly - and Go knows you will hurt the EARS of everyone around you, too!!
