Click on Options
Click on File Types select all
Click on DVD click on Advanced check settings here
I think your problem should be solved.
Or
Check if the computer sound is on or not? you can do by click on the speaker icon in the task tray or go from control panel. Sound should not be mute(confirm it)

You need the correct video codec to be installed. Do a google for a piece of software called g-spot that you can run that will examine a video file and tell you the name of the required audio and video codecs to play it - so you can go and then download/install the correct one!

All u need is Klite Codec pack, search on google for it, and u need a Region Killer if u got trouble with regions
