Apparently. All the rich people in this country seem to be far-right Christian fundies.

It would than appear that you have the wrong number or God. Some people seem to worship the Slot Machine God etc. Just what, exactly does it mean to... "Know God?" Eventually, we all die and become as equally rich or poor anyway. A poor person might be richer in friends and personality while a rich person may have only had "employed" those around who pretended to like them. One persons heaven is another persons hell. Maybe this is why the bible mentions different Gods and heavens. Oh well, what the hell.

Two problems. First, there is a logical fallacy here: there is no logical path between the existence (or non-existence) of god, and economics. Secondly, the poor are getting richer, not poorer; the meanest person in the US lives far better than a king did a millennium ago. It is mostly in Africa that economic progress is slow, and that has to do with the leaders ripping off the populace rather than anything to do with religion.

What's wrong with being rich? If it were a bad thing would people still kill themselves trying to get there.
Some rich people are nasty Christian do gooders that go around feeding people and the such while some are upstanding modern citizens of the world . They keep the bartenders and shrinks employed.
God left Your brothers care up to you. If you aren't helping then what are you crying about? Do you need monetary aid? Follow God's law and learn to receive.
In the meantime there are some street kids here in Cebu that could use some of that wealth. try christforasia.com.
God Bless!

What has the existance of God and the rich and poor have to do with each other? God created man to live his life the way he chooses. If he makes wise investments as some in the Bible did, then he gets richer. If he throws his pearls to the swine, then he gets poorer.

Why do you call yourself a Pope?

First of all, the rich don't always get richer and the poor don't always get poorer. It depends on many things, such as how you earn your money, one's work ethic, one's salary/pay at a job, and also how you spend it.

If you spend your money foolishly then no matter if you are rich or poor, you will most likely end up poorer.

It is easier for a rich person to become richer though, because they have more money to spend on things which can help to make more money for them, whereas a poorer person has a harder time purchasing the things or means (i.e. capital, businesses, investments) to make more money.

I don't think it has anything to do with religion or God.

Because, "It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven." The rich have hijacked the christian religion, but they do not understand that they cannot enter the kingdom of heaven carrying all their accumulated junk with them. They really need to read the letter of James in their bible and take it to heart. I feel for the rich and thank God I am poor.

First and foremost there is only one God and His name is Jesus.

Now on to answering your question:

A man's wealth is not measured by the dephts of his pocket or the numbers in his bank account but rather by the pureness of his heart and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. For in the end, the bank account is vanity and verything else is vanity and will all perish.

How many people do you know who are buried with their houses and fancy cars?

Moreover, doesnt God calls the poor the ones who are rich. And the Bible declares in 'Matthew 19:24 that "And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." So why would God desire to make things any harder for men to find Him?

Also, the rich gets richer because money tend to give power in this life and power comes with greed and greed comes with pride and pride..well you see where i am going. Money has a way of bringing out the worst in people. As a result, it is desirious to Christians..or at least myself, out of pure necessity more than anything else.

The rich will get materialistically richer because this is the way of the world and God will not interfere with our choices unless we ask Him to do so.

1 Timothy 6:10 (King James Version)
"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

God bless you

Hopefully God has more important things to worry about then which person can afford the nicest car... Although, some Protestants believed that earthly success was a sign of whether or not a person would be allowed into Heaven.

It's easier for a rich person to become richer.. they are able to afford better education and, as a result, better job opportunities with higher salaries. A person who cannot afford an education can work 80 hour weeks for their entire life and never become rich.

There is only one True God, but then again there is the god of this system of things; the ruler of this horrific world we live in today and his name is satan.

Rich get richer and poor get poorer of no doing of God's. Remember what James 1 tells us: "With bad things God cannot be tried", so you can attribute greed and poorness to man's own doing, and partly to satan who is pushing everything he can in these last days. Greed though has always been a fault of mankind's, not God's for he is perfect. Why don't you put the blame where it belongs. Here are a few scriptures for you to absorb and NEVER forget:

James 1: 12 - 15

Happy is the man that keeps on enduring trial, because on becoming approved he will receive the crown of life, which Jehovah promised to those who continue loving him. When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.

2 Peter 3: 8 - 10

"However, let this one fact not be escaping YOUR notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. Yet Jehovah’s day will come as a thief..."

No, rich people like rich people better. That is why they help rich people get richer like giving them unfair and unequal tax breaks thinking that it will trickle down to poor people some how. Oops! I didn't mean to go into all that "Rethuglican" stuff.
