i was also born in the year of the horse. i really like this tattoo... you could even have a tattoo artist shade in color if you want
i just did a google and yahoo image search... there are a few others with a lot more detail but i like the simplicity of this one

An actual tattoo of a horse would look sort of feminine. Think of unicorns, ponies, roses, ect. I'd just get the Chinese symbol for year of the horse.
