E.g A stranger comes by and tells you in a very fierce and rude way to off your car engine because it is bothering him and his family having dinner directly behind the car (Less than 1m away). What would you do? I was already gonna move off soon, just started in engine in less than 1 minute and he walked over. By the way, that was a parking lot.

I'd wonder if I was dealing with a crazy person and would probably obey to keep them from hurting me.

So a family was havin dinner directly behind your auto...seems a bit on the stupid side to me to situate their dining directly behind an auto in a parking lot.

Was it a gravel parking lot??? If so I would have spun out nicely as I left the area...possibly they will like the gravel sandwiches better than their previous food. With a "gravelly" personality like u described, the gravel in their food would have fit well with the situation.

Another nice tactic (if the parking lot was macadam or concrete) would have been to begin backin your auto in the direction of their "dining room". Maybe yell out something like, "my brakes are broke" to further their panic. Then drive off casually as if nothin were wrong.

My reactions usually come all from the attitude. If a guy is respectful to me, then I will give my all to accommodate him. But if he comes off rude and like a jerk...then he just made himself some big trouble.

Since he started rude, I will reply him, " If you care so much of your family, you shouldn't have choosen to eat here just behind a packing lot?" Ignore him an get back to my car.
But if he come to me and ask in a more polite way, I will off my engine.

People who are rude and fierce to strangers, are likely hot-tempered and dangerous. Honestly, I wouldn't know how I'd react without seeing exactly what his mannerisms are like, but the safer thing to do would be to just turn the engine off and maybe say, "You didn't have to yell at me, you know. You could have asked nicely".

But keep your window rolled up enough to be safe, and be prepared to lay on the horn to get attention in your direction in case he gets unreasonable.

Tell him you are in a public place if you want your car engine on then you will have your car engine on. If in a restaurant tell him to move seats if bothering him. Then I would get in my car and rev engine for a bit to annoy him further!

Point out where the nearest picnic area or park is, but that you're about to move off anyway.

Some times people want to use force in order to get their way. Whether they are right or wrong you should just stay away from people who are quick to anger.
