Yes, at the very least. It wouldn't hurt to say something like: bless this food for nourishment in my body, bless us and keep us in Jesus name amen.I have heard pastors say that in foreign countries when they weren't even sure when they'd eat again or what they'd eat, that that blessing, or one to the effect, caused them to be nourished when there was no food.

Religion and spirituality is an individual thing.
It doesn't harm us to spend time thinking of the people who made it possible for us to eat.
The farmers toiling in the fields (often now in poorer countries where we import our fruit, coffee etc from), the ship crew, the business people, the shop owners, the chef, the boss who pays us money so we can buy food etc.
But that is me....maybe you have other things you want to think about...God or the morning crossword.
