Do you think your kids should go to school with?

velcro shoes or shoe laces? For kindergarten?

I would start with velcro, then when the child is capable of tying shoes independently, then switch to laces.
I am a elem. school teacher and have to stop many times just to tie laces. I actually take a week at the beginning of school to teach my class how to tie shoes.

Velcro 100%.Kids are so excited to start school and play with their friends that they don't think about tying shoes.Beside if the shoe laces are white they won't last long at all.

Velcro if they can't tie shoes yet.
My daughter couldn't get tying shoes in kindergarten. I didn't want her feeling awkward. Meanwhile we worked on it at home.
It was hard for her, but we overcame - she is 14 now and just a fashion princess.

my kids are going to kindergarten I use Velcro they don't know how to tie shoes yet and with there shoe size its hard to find shoes with laces anyways they wear toddler size still. Its just up to you .

if they know how to tie their own shoes, laces. if not, Velcro. the teacher doesn't wanna be tying 25 pairs of shoes all day long

My son's teacher asked that all kids wear velcro shoes. Even kids that know how to tie their own shoes often forget to do so.

I think lace shoes are a little too dressy for school. However you might want to get them shoes with laces that can be tied. It will take patience to teach them to tie the laces.

Umm velcro, definitely. It is better, unless your child can already tie their shoe laces.

I like velcro. The teachers have enough to do without keeping twenty pairs of shoes tied everyday!

It is better for the shoes to be with laces because the kid will play with it until it is broken and in the long run it would be better for the kid.
