If that saying is important to you, then do it.

The inner wrist, I think, is a good spot cause you can sort of cover it with bracelets if you need to and a watch band will cover it nicely.

Be careful that the font you get is going to last. The tattoo artist can show you some good fonts. If you aren't sure you'l like it,have him do a stencil and wear it around for a week to see what you think. The artist wants you to be happy with your tattoo!

If you are to stay gold, though, doesn't that mean that you won't stay around. Like "always be gold" and gold, according to the poem, will not stay. I'm confused...lol

Think about it for at least 6 months. If it remains special and meaningful to you, then it may be a great idea. I, personally, do like the idea a lot.
I have a 4-word tattoo on the front of one ankle and it is a Romanian proverb. I've had it for quite a while and still adore it.
Good luck in your decision!

That is a really good idea! If it is something that is meaning ful to you I think that is the best kind of tattoo! Something that will mean something to you for the rest of your life! I got a tattoo of my favorite poem by my favorite poet on my shoulder! It will always mean something to me and it is a great way to keep my past with me and a close memory!

It may look and sound like a good idea now, but stop and think. Would you really want that on your wrist a few months; years from now?

I loved that book, and the poem.

I seriously know like 7 people who have "Stay Gold" tattooed on them somewhere. If you aren't going for originality, go ahead and get it.
