MY PC config is Celeron' D 2.80, 80 GB Sata HDD, 865 chipset Mother Board

First make sure you have the floppy disc for the motherboard Sata driver, best to load this at the "load scsi driver" phase before main XP install. (Might have to MAKE a floppy from motherboard CD

Second make sure you use a GENUINE XP CD, there are a lot of BAD copies out there with incomplete filesets, or missing boot info etc etc etc.

If you still hit problems, try posting a question with exact error and files missing.

If you are using a new, legal, XP CD, it cannot have missing files. If this CD does not install, then there is something wrong with the motherboard or hard drive.

if you think your motherboard is good, format the hard drive first ,
then do a complete installation.
