I guess just about every home has a bath, but there are a great deal now which have shower rooms too. A lot of homes have a bath with shower over. Me - I like my bath at night before bed, and a shower in the morning to wake up!

Rarely, some people have taken the bath out and put a stand-up shower in. I've not bothered to persue a purchase of a house where this was done.....not because of the work involved in putting it back, that's easy...........but if somebody is stupid enough to remove a bath, gawd knows what else they've done to the house!
Most have a shower over the bath, electric or boiler fed. En suite rooms tend to have a shower only.

The vast majority of houses have both a shower and a bath, many where there is simply a shower attachment over the bath. However, which is used will depend on the preferences of the current residents.

Uuum well most people I know have a bath with a shower over it so that you stand in the bath when you are in the shower, if you get me. Theres probably a name for it, sorry. =(

Other than that, a lot of people have shower cubicle things now and most people have a shower.
