Well that's part of it. The rest is to love Him with all our hearts and all our minds, then to love our neighbour as we ourselves want to be loved.
And there you have it... the reason for our existence!
We are to love. It's that simple and sooo many people just cannot grasp it! It is too simple for them to understand that we are here to "love". That is why we exist, and frankly my friend I have never found anyone nor anything that has a better reason to live.
Not a one, nothing on earth can give a better answer than that.
The wonderful thing about that is ...I didn't make it up! It isn't a great secret, and millions of people all around the world are trying to get the billions of people all around the world to come to accept that!
Simple don't make it easy you know.

If you are asking from a Christian point of view, no.
We are here to love AND serve God, as well as all of mankind.
Chances are, though, that if you love God truly with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, that you would be out serving God's people anyways, so it's sort of a moot point.

No. To know Honor and serve Him. We are commanded also to love him and you do this by doing those three things. In addition we must love our neighbor as ourselves. This is the heart of the law.

No! First, God loves us,and gives us freedom to chose to love Him or not, it's up to us to love Him and one another unconditionally.
