i know exactly what you mean..it seems like everyone is always breaking up and divorcing. when i start to think..why should i even try? i think of my grandparents who were married at 17 and died together at 91. so yes..it is possible...i think we just have to wait for the right person to come along (which seems like it could take a while ..lol)

It can happen but you know not every relationship can be that way, but sometimes you have to through rough times to know how much you truly love that person and how your meant to be. And about that whole taking a break will maybe if you do take a break you realize how much you love that person and and you can't replace it with another person.like the saying you don't know what you have till you loss it. And everyone fights but that's normal doesn't mean you guys don't love each other just means your humans. And when your in love and found that one person and stands out from everyone else and gives you those feelings your never felt about anyone else just re reamer to listen to each other and talk about everything and how you feel and stuff and if it's meant to be and meant to be. Reamer what's meant to be will always find it way

I think this really depends on a case by case basis. Sure, divorce rates are higher than ever and people cheat on each other left and right. What this comes down to is if the couple is willing to work on the relationship to keep it going. Not everyone has to be heartbroken, but I am sure it has happened to everyone at least once in their life. In a way it doesn't kill us, but it makes us stronger for the future. I think the answers to your questions really depend on the different circumstances that occur in the relationship.

I've been married to my husband almost nine years and I could see ourselves together until one of us dies.
Yes it is possible and I know this is too soon to know if we'll stay together but I can tell you that after 3 children, one million problems and 9 years of marriage We love and admire each other more than ever. The key isn't love but respect, love goes
throughout many faces but if you always respect each other no matter where love is at that point everything will be O.K. I told my husband when I accepted to marry him: Please, no matter what happens never swear at me or call me stupid because I will not tolerate it. Starting today you'll be the greatest man alive to me as I'll be the greatest woman alive to you.
It is very hard at times but knowing that your husband or wife will never talk trash about you keeps you closer. We don't trust anyone, we trust each other the way it should be.
How many times you trust your best friend and she ends up
causing more trouble than help?
You can have friends, children, parents but always remember that the one and most important person in your life is the one that sleeps with you!
Good luck!
It isn't easy but it could be possible to have a nice and long
relationship.
Live, Forgive and Forget!

Sure it happens, they are far and few between, but back in my grandparents days, they married for life, good or bad, they stuck with it. Now who knows what went on over the cotton sacks out in the fields, we were not there to see, maybe they had a fling or two, but they kept it in the closet and remained married for life, but some people meet mate and never ever want or need another person in their lives, and I say kudos to them. I have been married 26 years and it has not been all roses, but, more roses than thorns, especially the older we get the better it gets.

If you have a chance, take a look at the census stats or marriage stats and check the percentage of marriages that have lasted for 50 years or more. Most of these have ended due to the death of one spouse or the other. These are testaments to the fact that, indeed, there are relationships that do last forever.

everybody has problems !! and some work it out and some don't!!! But yes if you look at older people you will see that they stayed together through it all !!! Have you ever been in a retirement center or a nusing home ? There you will see a man and wife still together and still in love to the end !!!

I think it depends on the maturity of the people involved. I know many couples who've been together since their teens and they are now in their 50's and still happy! Just depends on the people and their attitude toward the relationship.
