Yes. It worked REALLY well for me.
I used it for a year when I was 16 years old and it worked wonders! Of course there were some horrible side effects like skin dryness, depression, etc., and not to mention the HORRIBLE birth defects it can cause. But it was definitely worth it to me.
Some people have to repeat the therapy though because their acne can come back in a few years. I'll be starting on Accutane again in September (6 years after my first treatment).
If you have tried everything else out there and nothing seems to work give Accutane a try. Just make sure you are fully aware of all the side effects that come along with it! Good luck!

The thing about Accutane (isotretinoin) is that it's regulated relatively strictly in most, if not all states. While it may work for its intended purpose, it can cause severe birth defects when used by women who are pregnant. By severe I mean missing limbs, disproportionate features and extremities. I haven't researched how it works in other places, but at least in my state there is a program called "iPledge". It requires that users of Accutane answer a question over the phone after studying some documentation about the risks of using Accutane. The pharmacy must then call the program to alert them and to be certain that the patient is authorized to use the medication (i.e. answered the question correctly). There are more rules involved, for example, there is a limited amount of time in which a patient must pick up the prescription from the pharmacy. Women who are pregnant or whom may become pregnant must not use Accutane because of the certainty of birth defects.

whatever you do, do not use this. accutane is very bad. there are plenty of other types of acne creams and scrubs that you can use, don't use this. if you are trying to get rid of acne, the best thing for you to do, is to not really wash you face, yeah it might sound weird, but it works, when you wash your face or pop a zit then the fluid that is in it, plugs up another pore, and then you get a zit there, and this just will continue as long as you keep popping. just do not use accutane,

Yes. It works very well. After making it worse for a long time, and exhausting you from feeling inferior, you skin will look awesome. But by then, you will have felt so much worse than everyone else that you won't be too stuck up about looking good. You'll look sweet and humble, which is part of the attraction in the end anway.
