I want you to tell me why YOU feel your religion is the right one. I don't want you to give me paragraphs that you have copied and pasted from other websites or books. I want YOUR words.

Feelings, have no place in a conclusion based upon logic.
Logic, is the use of factual evidence to draw an accurate conclusion.

I am a Bahai. After born in Hinduism, went to catholic missionary school(private) school for six years. During that I learnt about Islam, Buddhism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Din-I-Lahi, Bahai.

Being Bahai, you cannot claim only one religion is right(You believe all religions are from the same God). That is always I've believed that the same God(ONE GOD), sent his messengers everywhere in different parts of the world. It ended up as different religions. All religions say the samething. Being a Bahai, you cannot proselytize, convert, or force to convert another person of other culture by any means(Co-ersion, guilt trip, money, offering, etc). That is one of the fundamental beliefs of Bahai faith, which believes in all religion is equal. Unity and Peace, Equality of men and women, Compatibility of Science and Religion are other features which I love about it.

More than all they advice "INDIVIDUAL Investigation of Truth" instead of forced to believe whatever the other person says one has to research and should find the truth for themselves.

Why do I have to 'feel' it? Why can't I think it? Geez!

The reason why I think that my 'religion' is the right one is because I have been shown that it was the right one.

This is something that people either will not believe at all or not understand at all how it could be possible. God picks who knows Him. I have support in the Bible as to what God does, and it says that this is what He does. How else can I put it?

Before I knew that God worked that way, He made sure I knew that He was real. In order for it to be possible for me to want to know Him, He gave me the desire to.

I could show you where it says that now ( but you asked me not to) , but it's in the Bible how He works. Even before I knew about how He worked, He worked on me. All I had to do to is trust Him. And that's in the Bible too.

So it's not circular thinking, it's His Spirit combining with His word, to influence me.

this is a great question. without pulling from doctrinal sources it is harder but it makes you think about what you really feel. For me I just know. It rings true in my heart and in my mind. Logically, it makes total sense to me. I still have questions, but I have a way to figure them out. When I pray about if it is true, I feel that it is right. In my heart it makes me happy. It provides a way for me to deal with life's great questions. Why am I here? What should I be doing? What happens when I die? It provides comfort when I am unhappy or otherwise troubled. It brings me closer to my family and friends. It is intellectually stimulating--it makes me think. I am always learning new things. I guess I think it is right because it is satisfying to me in all aspects of life (intellectually, emotionally, socially, etc.) and provides ways for me to grow and become a happier and better person.

Christianity is indeed true. It does not matter that I, or anyone else believes that it is, IT IS! The bible states that God has chosen certain people to believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Those people are given the ability to have the faith necessary to believe that the bible is true and that Jesus is Lord. God places in each chosen person, by the Holy Spirit, that ability to understand the bible, use it as their spiritual food, and live a life according to the Word of God.

So...I believe that Christianity the only way to God and the only true religion. Something also for you to consider...there are only two religions, Christianity and Humanism, so your choices are very narrow.

I think my religion is right because at its very foundations it recognizes that religion is a profoundly human phenomenon - that religion is human beings try to reach to deity. Sometimes we get it right, and yes, sometimes God gives us a nudge, but we have to acknowledge that our particular manifestation of things really is just our best guess at what God wants.

And that, I think, is the reality of the matter. Doctrinal specifics are important, but shouldn't be accorded universal value. What's essential is the admission of the humanity of religion. My religion definitely has that one right.

My religion and my personal relationship with God are two different things. My religion is a Bible based religion and has yet to be proven wrong by others. If I have any questions all of them are answered by the Bible. Other religions claim Bible and Bible only, but when you ask them questions they skirt around issues if they can't prove it with the Bible.

Wow...that's kind of like asking, "Why do you feel that modern civilization is superior to tribalism?" I could point to this piano, or that chair...but to come up with a concise, one paragraph answer...I don't have it. I'd have to write a book (which many have done). My problem is I'm entirely convinced of my faith. A person who is halfway convinced of something is often a lot more convincing...he has all his reasons at his side, like knight with his sword, and he's always ready to wield them against his foes. Someone like me, who has no doubt, has to work a lot harder to produce a convincing apologia.
