I am cooking dark chicken soup.

1.5kg chicken. how many tea spoon or table spoon of 5spice power should i put in it??

Five spice is strong so it does not take much. Also you cannot tell immediately after adding as the flavor changes some as it cooks, the different spices diffuse at different rates. I would start with about 1-1/2 teaspoons. Let it simmer at least 5 min. And adjust it then. I have noticed considerable differences in brands of five spice so it really is taste and see.

TT = to taste

add it in teaspoon or table spoon depending ont he size of the food you are making at a time and check for flavor however you desire and that goes with every spice, salt and pepper you use.

just put in a tablespoon, then let it cook, taste it...add more if you need too...just do it to taste
