It's less graphic than other examples that I've seen, but I still find it incredibly distasteful.

I am very pro-choice, but very anti-partial birth abortion. I strongly feel that if a woman has carried the baby to term and gone through labor and already given birth half way, she should just give birth to the other half and then place the baby up for adoption if she does not want it. It is despicable to give life to something and then kill it... I believe rights begin as soon as you exit the birth canal, and clearly in partial birth abortion the baby becomes a child not just another part of the mother. The practice should be done away with; there is no reason at all to justify it. It is NOT a medical procedure.

Aurora Dawn, what does atheism have to do with it? I am an atheist too, but it doesn't temper my opinion on the matter.

I am so glad that there is a ban on partial birth abortion now. Of course this hurts the baby when she's pulled out by the legs & murdered by being stabbed in the back of the head.

Personally I believe this is a more dangerous proceedure for the mother too, than actually delivery or a cesarian.
