True love? Pure love? There's no such thing. Yes, teens usually get carried away by the beauty of these words and statements. It's love when teenagers fall in love for the first time. And it's love when married couples, having faced all the problems, hardships, misunderstandings and arguments but have successfully raised a family and still live happily after 20 or 25 or 50 yrs and more. There's no difference. Only time and experience will show and tell how strong or weak our feelings of love can become.

What is pure and true love?
Pure True and Unconditional Love.
Answer .> love without conditions put upon it.
Conditional love would be like, If you are bad and don't do what I say, I won't Love you. If you look at or go out with other people, I won't love you any more.
God's Love is the most pure and unconditional.
No matter what you do, he will Love you and not forsake you.

Unconditional love is an ideal. I've never seen it and I'm not sure humans are capable of unconditional love. Maybe Jesus or Ghandi loved unconditionally but not regular folks.

1 Corinthians 13.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." GOD

It is a commitment to a willingness to sacrifice all your hopes, dreams, and ambitions; everything that gives your life one shred of meaning, for the betterment of another person.

You must separate people from what they do, you can hate what they do (their sins), but love them because they are God's kids.
