Abraham, fathered Ishmael, the son of the Egyptian servent to Sarah. Then Sarah had a son, his name was Isaac, God told Abraham the covenant was to be with Isaac, not Ishmael.

The Muslim belief is that God told Abraham the covenant was to be with Ishmael, not Isaac. So it would appear that they worship the same God. However, if one was to look to the description of the two beliefs, they could hardly conclude that they are in deed the same Gods.

This family disagreement has been going on for over two thousand years. It is the reason for the the whole world being turned upside down today.

I follow the Holy Bible, so I believe it is Isaac, which is also the belief of the Jewish Nation. Christianty is a sect of Judaism. We believe in the same God, I can't see that the Muslims god is the same.

If you compare the God of the Jews, with the god of the Muslims, you will find they are as far apart as the east is
from the west.

God be with you,

Allah and God mean the same thing, but Allah is a more accurate name for the One God. It cannot be made plural, as the english God can become Gods or Godesses. So yes, they are the same entity. The Arabic word Allah is just a more accurate name.

God !Allah!Jehovah!, means the same name but that doesn't mean the same for every body.Lots of people or religions call their god, allah,Jehovahh, as a cow,the sun,the rain, money, gold, etc.
As for me and for millions of people, the true God,true Allah, true Jehova,is the Creator of Heaven and all the universe. He is the Almighty, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end,He's our Father like or not, believe or not believe.

Allah is an Arabian moon god.
"God" is an English word refering to any male deity.

But it doesn't matter anyway because all gods and goddesses are the same entity anyway.

No they are not.

al- ilah, i.e. "the deity," "The god Il or Ilah was originally a phase of the Moon God." The Moon-god was called al- ilah, i.e. the god, which was shortened to Allah in pre-Islamic times.
The pagan Arabs even used Allah in the names they gave to their children. For example, both Muhammad's father and uncle had Allah as part of their names.

The fact that they were given such names by their pagan parents proves that Allah was the title for the Moon-god even in Muhammad's day

properly, the Bible identifies the Jews as God's chosen human beings; the Koran condemns them. additionally, it incredibly is argued that the finished Bible is approximately Jesus Christ (New testomony needless to say, however the old testomony prophesies him). Now that He has lived, died, and ascended, why would God have a nil.33 testomony made, one that contradicts the final public of the docrines accessible? i'm no longer able to profess to have study the Koran, yet i'm surprisingly specific that it says countless issues than the Bible. @ aeiou_11375: "sure, each and every thing it is nonexistent would properly be placed into the comparable class" it incredibly is confusing to tutor God, yet you could no longer disprove him the two.

even in terms of thier own stories yes, the jews were waiting for a prophet and someone said it was jesus, this made christians, some jews didn't think it was jesus and stayed jews. Then someone said mohammed is the prophet, these people became muslims. So, jews came first and now muslims and christians argue over who was the prophet of god predicted by the jews jesus or muhammed. The jews themselves are still waiting for the prophet otherwise they would belong to one of these other religions if you follow.

This is really why people are taught jesus is god, as someone said above, although she does not know why. She just knows her preacher makes a big deal about it, thus so does she. The preacher is likely just following tradition of maintaining that seperation, like repeating a slogan on advertising. Where's the beef and jeus is god become parts of the common vernacular. But you see it's all there for and exists because of this war, this war we're fighting still today. btween christians and jews, who is the one true prophet. Who is the one? like neo.

Islam:

Yes.

The Word God is an English Transliteration of the Jewish ELOHIM. Elohim is from two Canannite Words, AL and ALAH, collectively Means, The Strong Oath, referencing Covenants, Contracts, Will, and many of the other Attributes that go into the Being of "GOD".

So, the Word God comes to christians from Jews' Elohim and Jews got Elohim from the Canaanites.

It is also interesting to Note that the Meanings were more in line with "SOL" (invisible) instead of DEUS.

The Qur'an teaches that God has no son. (daughters, yes, but no son.)

The Bible teaches that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God.

Therefore, God and Allah cannot be the same entity.
