George!! You are a truly a horrible, disgusting person!! Everybody knows that a two month old is WAY too old to feed a puppy. We're not talking about a full grown dog here! Aborted fetuses are the way to go. Also they are also much easier to come by. I hang out behind the local abortion clinic and wait for them to dump the trash. That stuff is supposed to go into the medical waste bin, but is really amazing what a crisp new $10 bill can get . BTW another correction for George, the dog is still genetically a wolf, so "still squirming" is best (better hurry for those though, they don't last long outside...)

Hi. Most people would feed it dog food or the dry dog biscuits with the occasional scraps. I feed my dog(Charles) a mixture of the dog biscuits and tinned food and sometimes scraps. I would give him the dog biscuits by itself but he prefers to have the meat. The reason I WOULD give him the dog biscuits plain is because it means he doesn't "need to go" as much but he won't eat it without the canned food. But then again, I heard of a dog who lived 17 years eating the same as his owners. The average dog lives 11 or 12 years. But you MUST think about this. When an owner goes to work, the dog sets off and if it found a dead rat in the garden(I'm not suggesting you have a rat problem) then it would eat it. It's a fact of life. Dogs eat meat if they find it. One day I came home to discover the books in my shed had been ripped and some pages eaten. And when I went to find my dog, guess what he was doing! eating paper. Dogs have pretty tough digestion systems. As long as you don't give your dog chocolate, or feed him to much, you should be fine. But since your pup is developing you need to feed him SOME sort of puppy food because it isn't drinking from it's mum now you have him. You could let your boyfriend feed him boiled eggs, pasta, black beans and tuna and buy puppy milk, which can be bought from an ordinary supermarket. Well, good luck with your puppy.

Actually table scraps arent bad for them as long as... Say you are feeding 3 cups a day, if the dog gets some table scraps cut it down to 2 cups. Also, DON'T feed commercial brands with a lab, nothing with corn, or anything that has byproduct in it ie. animal byproduct, meat meal, bone meal.... That can contain road kill and euthanized animals from shelters (no joke) Whatever food you buy, I reccommend MEASURING out the food according to the label, Find a GOOD large breed puppy food and since you have a lab (yes I know , but they do get fat easily!) cut it back about 1/5 so if it says feed five cups feed four. And use a measuring cup, and level it off, no heaping. Another reason you might not want to feed table scraps is that it can cause bad habits, like begging which might be cute for a while but not for long, or stealing (even worse) . When she is fed these things make her work for them. Like sit stay or down. Or any neat trick, even if fed with the kibble you can use these before you put the bowl down. for more info on the nastiness that goes into dog food check out the links. NO Iams, Eukanuba (both USED to be good dog foods but alas, when people get greedy quality goes down), Pedigree, Purina (except maybe Purina One), or Science Diet. Nutro is a pretty cheap alternative and it's a decent food for a budget. Its available at petco and petsmart too so you can find it.

Thought porridge and oatmeal were the same thing? Anyway its not really a good idea to give a baby crisps. Actual carrot sticks would be ok (if he's teething, my son love chomping on stuff) but there's no nutritional value in crisps and probably a lot of salt or sugar in them. White chocolate also isn't something you want to be giving him daily. Fruit is fine,(although I was told to avoid citrus and berry fruits so no to strawberries) but he doesn't seem to be eating that much around lunch time, just a yoghurt? Does he have milk instead? Its all dependant on how much formula/milk he's getting because if that's filling him up, a yoghurt is fine. But the main aim at this age is to introduce a)different or more lumpy textures, and b) the social setting of "eating" so them being at the table, or being with you when having a meal. I never really liked the jar foods, thought they were too expensive for what they were and I always just made my own, so I knew what he's eating.

I agree with you. The only table food I give dogs is eggs and some fatty meats. Other wise I feed them Science Diet. Its a little more, but it has great results. Labs have lot of energy, they do need good food. You can choose Chicken based or Lamb. But dont mix them it,wipes out the benefits of the Lamb. And let your bf know that fish, chocolate, and onions are not good for Dogs. He must love the dog, so just show him the benefits of real dog food that is kinder to their systems, will help with weight control, and they dont beg. Let him buy some toys to play together with. Good Luck

This is true babies are a good source of nutrion for a young pup, but when he gets older make sure he gets his senior diet, for this any nursing home will do. Just go on down pick your self up an elderly person and you should be stocked up for at least a week on dog food depending on the height and weight of the elderly person.

That's bad. He's killing your dog. Don't give him any people food or scraps. Find a dog food made with corn instead of beef and put that dog on a diet.

everyone forgets that this is an animal capable of eating rotted carcasses. .....and the pros will tell you to give him something like Science Diet. I would not like to be around a dog that obviously is going to have gas ! God forbid if your boyfriend does too !

Dog semen is very high in proteins. I expect the dog will get more than enough neutrition just from licking it's own genitalia.
