THE PURPOSE AND AUTHORITY OF THE INSPIRED WRITINGS:
(1) Life in the name of Jesus (John 20:30-31).
(2) Commands of the Lord (1 Cor. 14:37).
(3) Knowledge of the mystery of Christ (Eph. 3:2-5).
(4) The proper conduct (1 Tim. 3:14-15).
(5) Every good work (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
(6) Protection against sin (1 John 2:1).
(7) An assurance of eternal life (1 John 5:13)
(8) Standard by which teachers are tested (1 Cor. 4:6; Acts 17:11).
(9) Joy that is complete (1 John 1:1-4).
(10) A reminder of the commandments (2 Pet. 3:1-2).
(11) Standard of judgment (Rev. 20:12; John 12:48; Rom. 2:16; James 2:12).
As you see, Everything you need to be Spiritually Saved is written in the Bible.
2 Tim 3:17 says that the scripture will "equip us for every good work".
It does Not say that scripture will "equip us for MOST good works". It does Not say that scripture will "equip us PARTIALLY for good works".

Have you tried NOT brushing your teeth or shaving your legs? Yawning is a biological function that we cannot control...the others are part of the social construct that make up a part of our culture.
Of course if you want to have all your teeth fall out and have monkey legs to prove a point....like refusing to shave your armpits and wearing a bra as the 60's generation did...then that is your option. No one is forcing you to do these things.

"Many people say that the scripture doesnt support parts of my faith"
Equating false doctrine with personal hygiene is an unwise thing to do. You don't say why people tell you that parts of your faith are not supported by Scripture but a person should not add to nor diminish from God's Word. Having "faith" in things that the Bible doesn't teach equals being deceived or having faith in a fantasy. Why don't you talk to a competent Christian Pastor about your faith and see what he can tell you?

Remember the Bible gives principles in our dispensation of grace, and many times those principles are explained in the culture/generation they were written. Seek the truth of what God is saying and apply it to this culture/generation. The Bible doesn't need to speak of every detail, the principles cover it. We are to take care of our bodies, that includes hygene. We are to utilize wisdom of elders, as long as tradition is not against the Word, it's ok. Look up scriptures containing words like "tradition" and "law". Galatians is a good start.

Yawning is a natural thing...you can't control it and brushing your teeth is just good hygiene...shaving your legs is vanity and a sin...
so there...
------------------------
oh by the way, your book(I guess you're Christian too) should be the most important part in your faith, and most of the things in our faith(depending on which denomination you are) are scripturally based

it isn't in the bible to shave your legs. That is a "man" made rule.. And only rule not law. People in Europe don't do it, well some do but they don't find it necessary to do it. Men wanted a woman to clean and hair free. Not a religious act..

There is no scripture for leg shaving. People do it because they find it more attractive, than being hairy.

Scripture is important for serious issues, spiritual, eternal things. Shaving your legs will not help or hurt your soul.
