I usually tie my hair up, and I was worried of getting this hairstyle because it might not look right up..

You'll probably have trouble getting all of it to stay, and will either give up or end up using a lot of products and clips to achieve your ponytail. However, it also depends on your ponytail needs... is it just for an alternative hairstyle or does your hair need to be pulled back for your job or sport/dance/hobby/etc. Try something with a longer shortest layer. I'm a ponytail girl myself and have made some ill-advised cuts. anyway... good luck with your decision and remember whatever happens hair grows!

It wouldn't be a very long ponytail, so you could go a little longer than that hairstyle but it would look cute up. A little bit of the hair on the top of the pony tail would spike out or a little upwards but it looks really cute especially if the hair is layered. Mine does that and I love it!

Oh that will look just fine up. Maybe you could leave the bangs down a bit to frame your face. I think it's sassy and fabulous.

that is too short to put up...if you go for a longer length with the same type cut it will look great
