The only advice I can give is to be very diligent and patient. Make sure you get your pup on a strick feeding schedule and take him out very VERY often. Also keep in him a crate while you are gone or too busy to be with him. He will learn to hold in while in that crate. I don't agree that wee wee pads are a good training idea. Because no matter what the dog is learning that its ok to poo and pee INSIDE your house even if it is on a pad. Your pup is right at that age when they try to test you--just like a teenager would! Just make sure to get him out as often as possible so that he learns the feeling of the grass. Don't worry, all the strict scheduling and diligence will pay off in a few months and you will learn you can be more relaxed about things.

I know that this is going to sound mean but this worked with all 4 of my Yorke's. Put your dog in a cage that will fit the dog comfortably, put its bed on half and a pee pee pad as you call it on the other half. Now the dog will probably pop on its bed a few times but the dog will learn that if it does not want to sleep in pop then it will start going on the pad. Another scenario is you have a set time that you take the dog out everyday until he or she uses the bathroom, then you take the dog back in. Sooner or later the dog will learn that the outside is where he or she needs to do its business. I am not promising anything, but this worked with all 4 of my dogs. Good luck.

My pom does the same thing, I've had her since Christmas Eve and it isn't getting any better. If I'm home I put her out every hour or so and we don't have any accidents. I think part of the problem is my husband and I don't realize when she is asking to go out because she doesn't bark or go to the door. Join a Pomeranian group in yahoo, they all advise crate training.

It might be the wee-wee pads are confusing him a bit. I'm going to get ahold of my contacts and see what they have to say.

You must have persistence and always have your doggie go potty in the same area..so as not to confuse him. Also take him outside alot so he associates that with going potty .Either that or replace your carpet with tile...easier to clean!
