It seems like more people watch dog fighting than boxing nowadays?

Is America so violent that two people punching each other in the face for like 30 minutes is not good enough?

Would more people watch? Would you?

Don't get angry, its the truth people like others getting hurt.

Think of all the shows that have people getting injured. Scarred is the latest and it shows people getting "scarred". Jackass, and all the internet video with people getting hurt. Why do people slow down to watch wrecks?

People like violence why are you angry with me?

Of course it would be more popular. People are sick deep down as they slow down to see a car crash, or they go to bullfights to see the bull win. How many times has ESPN shown the guy falling off his skateboard at the X games in the past day? People love that stuff!

It's why the Ultimate fighting, or whatever it's called is going to pass up boxing in popularity. People want to see guys get jacked up.

When I was a kid boxing was artistic, and everyone watched every heavyweight fight whether Ali was fighting of not. Now no one seems to care.

I agree with you to a certain point. We all stop to look at traffic accidents, watch NASCAR for the crashes, bullfights, the Minnesota bridge collapse is STILL on CNN, etc. But a fight to the death.... It would only work if you used inmates on death row as the combatants. The winner would get a life sentence without parole as a reward.

to a pair, Bruce could have "basically" regarded sturdy in the videos yet he additionally CREATED an entire martial arts type that's practiced and embraced international extensive. He could not do this if he did not have any skills. i could not see Chuck Norris pulling off the a million inch punch the two. The combat could in all probability pass down only like it did in "way Of The Dragon (return Of The Dragon)"

HELL YES! Bring back the Roman Colosseum days, where the fans get to vote on who lives or dies. If someone fights like Mayweather, you can release a couple of lions to expedite things. Have some Olympic pools filled with bull sharks to spice up the swimming events. How 'bout a cluster-bomb basketball that explodes if you miss! I'll bet Shaq would practice his free throws then! Just think how exciting a lazy fly ball would be if the outfield was mined! I shutter to think how many yards Tomlinson would gain if his linemen could open a hole using battle-axes! The only problem I see is that there wouldn't be anybody left to make Nike commercials and sell billions of dollars worth of over-priced tennis shoes to people who can't afford them!

probably not to the death, that's alittle extreme. But if a boxing match was fought till someone was knocked out, then that would be more entertaining. Plus, the judging is never consistant, most of the fight i've seen go to a decision. and the decision does not reflect what i was watching during the fight. If the judges were taken out, then that would fix boxings entertainment value.

IMO, boxing won't be popular even if it fight to the dead, there's many history that some people died in boxing, so it's still dangerous sport

people not watching how people get hurt in boxing or any other martial arts

people watch their courage, their willpower to win, their technique.

even if there's people who like to watch man hurt man, i think it's only a sick man who need a treatment or guidance

Boxing was popular when men punched each other instead of watching other people do it and wondering how is it like? How about you getting in a real fight instead of asking these gay questions?

Please don't base your views of America on a few stupid instances, if the Vick incident is what you are referring to. And not once have I watched dog fighting, seen it advertised anywhere in the U.S., or know anyone personally that has ever viewed dog fighting in the U.S. it's cruel and unacceptable. And no I would not watch boxing if it were to the death.

Jerk!

Thumb through the Yellow Pages phone book under psychiatrists, pick one, or even a couple that appeal to you and make an appointment to see them. When you sit down to talk to the shrink(s), ask them these questions you have posted here and see what he/she tells you. You need to see professional help as quickly as possible you have a problem.

It's not going to be more popular if someone die in the ring. It's probably have the reverse effect, unpopular. Nobody like to see anybody die in the ring.
