I am buying a house with my fiance. The house is 2 story, about 2000 square feet, has a kitchen, 2 1/2 baths, a dining/living room combo, a family room, an upstairs loft, and 3 bedrooms. We want to have a country-themed house and I was looking for some ideas for paint colors. All ideas welcome.

The thing to remember with country decorating is pattern: use florals with stripes and gingham, but using the same color scheme in all the patterns. If you log onto amazon, you'll find MANY books on country decorating...

My personal favorite is wedgewood blue and white, using florals, stripes, ginghams and polka-dots

Go to the decorating section at a good book store. There are several styles of country - Victorian, Italian, French, English countryside, American, Mexican, New Mexican, etc. - any culture has a "country" style. Pick up 3 or 4 that you like and then use the books to help develop your own style of decor.

1] each of you pick a favorite color, then compromise on a third - use those as main color for your 'public' areas - LR/DR, kitchen, FR, downstairs hall and bath. OR,
2] use earth tones - greens, tans, browns
3] spring colors - sky blue, leaf green, sun yellow
Bedrooms, upstairs baths, hall, can be any color - I usually match master bath with that bedroom; and hall bath with guest room.

I love to go to the paint section of Lowe's or Home Depot and gather the paint chips and take them home and create my own color scheme. Make it your own.

rather than looking for decorating hints, I think you're just bragging. Why do I need to know beds/baths for color schemes? Square footage? c'mon.
