The Navy has tons of jets and pilots. Helicopters as well. The Marines do as well. The Navy is not the same as the Marines, however, there are some overlapping tasks they perform. The Navy is essentially a sea-based armed service, whereas the Marines are set up more for land combat, as well as being deployed to land from both air and sea. Strange as it may seem, the original Mercury astronauts were represented by test pilots from the Navy, the Marines, and the Air Force, but not the Army. The reason is that those three branches of the armed services all have jet aircraft that require test piloting, which the Navy, Marines, and Air Force all have.

Yes, people in the Navy fly jets. Now the only ones we have are the F/A18 Hornet and the EA-6B Prowler. They are pilots, they just specialize in military aircraft.
The Marines are not made fro flying. They do some flying but only in close ground support roles. The marines are for attacking beachheads and other rifleman stuff like that. The Marine Corps is a sub-division of the Department of the Navy.

Yes, there are many jet pilots in the Navy. The USA has about dozen Aircraft Carriers that can go on the water and launch and recover aircraft. The Marines don't stay on the water, the Navy just gives them a ride.

Yes, people in the Navy fly jets. They too are pilots.
Navy and Marines are different, but the latter can be attached to the Navy for specific duties.
Navy's exclusive domain is the sea, but the Marines could be based either on land or sea. Marines donot have the ocean as their sole operations area.
F-22 is for the Air Force.

Sure. There are a lot of Navy pilots. Have you seen the Blue Angels perform at Air shows? I spent 4 years on an air craft carrier and they launched and recovered planes almost 24 hours a day.
The Marines we had on board, were mostly for security of the nuclear weapons on-board. They also escorted the Captain around, and ran the brig.

Technically, the Marines are a division of the Navy. All of the armed services fly a variety of aircraft - helicopters, jets, etc. You have to be a pilot in order to fly.
