Of course. Santa is every bit as real as God.

No.. Santa Claus is NOT REAL..And NO Christians don't believe that he exists....he is only known to be real in the minds of little innocent children. The only reason that we keep the fairytale alive is for the thrill and the fun of Christmas morning when the little ones wake up to find a beautiful Christmas tree loaded with toys underneath that Santa leaves behind. When the kids get a certain age, of course there comes a time where they just stop believing in Santa because they are old enough and wise enough to handle what the true meaning of Christmas is all about...the Birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior.

No. The history of Santa Claus is pretty definitive. There was an old man who brought toys to children. As with many historical facts, there are fictional things that were added to it. But in order to find what the truth is, you merely check your sources and find out where the myths were first stated.

One thing I liken this to is the romanticized version of King Arthur and Merlin. The oldest account of them comes from Geoffrey of Monmouth. There we can spot the differences in the stories of the magic, the sword in the stone, the Lady of the Lake.

With the Bible, we have the oldest accounts confirming the stories of the Textus Receptus, though there are a few differences.

Here is the rub!
Jesus quoted older texts that we did not have at the time of the creation of the King James Version! And now we have those texts due to archaeological discoveries. The fact that Jesus came to Earth was foretold in the books of Daniel, Psalms, Zechariah, Isaiah, and Jeremiah, etc. The fact that the Jews as a nation didn't believe it was foretold in the Old Testament; as far back as the time of Moses.

So it would not be fair for someone to liken the belief in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and such fictitious characters to the belief in God. Anymore than I would accuse Atheists of believing in a magical pool of ooze from which all life sprang.

I do not believe in Santa clause as such but i do believe that their was a st nic character from which Santa clause was derived.
The reasoning is simple. In the case of old St. Nick, there is no evidence he has left behind to indicate that he has been here. What evidence that may have been provided by your parents has been clearly refuted by your seeing your mom putting out presents. In the case of God, on the other hand, there is evidence: the very existence of life, consciousness, and complexity indicates intelligent design. While it is a common thought that matter, energy, information, and life can arise from nothingness, the means of doing so are highly theoretical, and there is as yet no trustworthy evidence that this is true. For example, having a large amount of random subatomic particles explode does not form stars, planets, or any of the other structures we find in space. It has been theorized that it COULD, but no evidence suggests that it HAS. It is the same with life, only much more difficult. In the case of the human mind, for example, there has been more than enough proof that we posses powers far beyond the ability to control our actions and make computer-like decisions with our brains. In addition, there is simply the impossibility of Santa Claus. Numerous mathematical evaluations have shown that he would have to deliver gifts to hundreds if not thousands of homes every second, which is a physical impossibility. The only exception to this rule is if he is indeed God, but this seems highly improbable at best

No because he is a man made figure. The God of the Bible reveal himself everyday to those who are willing to hear.
The Bible was written by a nu
mber of different people over a number of centuries and a close study of it reveals an amazing God. If aren't listening to God with an open heart you cant possibly hear Him speak to you. The main evidence of God's existence is seen in the changes He brings in peoples lives. Nothing else can soften your heart and allow you to grow into a full person than the realisation that God is real.
I've been there, I know, I was one of those people who held christians in the loopy category. But when He taps on your shoulder and says 'Hey, I'm real.' you have an important decision to make. God Bless you!

That is a major trick of the devil to pull peoples thinking away from Christ. What better way for the devil to take away and rob Jesus and God, than to use the children. Why can't people tell their kids that we give them presents because when Jesus was born, men gave Jesus presents. It's His Birthday and that is why we celebrate it. Quote from MDW 44 BB 1190: " Happy Birthday Dear Jesus, Happy Birthday Dear Jesus, and Merry Christmas To. I just took time to remember, This is all for You. From the star on the tree, that guided the wise men three. To the presents they gave you, that's given to me". unquote.
The Easter bunny is another.
