Would it be ok to use Aveeno Daily Moisturizing with oatmeal? A few people told me to use vitamin E, I was just wondering if I could use Aveeno.

This is the only advise my tattoist gives. Any deviation from this is your own responsibility in his view

When i first got mine done, I used this stuff called "tattoo goo". It worked really good and smelled like Rose marry.
The Aveeno should be safe as long theres alot of natural ingredients in it. Try and stay away from everything that is heavily scented. Oh yea, something better than Aveeno you might have lying around the house would be Vaseline.

You might want to stay away from anything that is petroleum based..I learned after many years of getting inked that I am allergic. I tried alot of different moisturizers and have learned that that ingredient is in almost everything!! Good Luck!

I HAVE 6TATTOOS..EVERYTIME I WENT TO GET A TATTOO THAT WAS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS THE TATTOO ARTIST ALWAYS SUGGESTED A&D OINTMENT..WHICH IS IN A WHITE TUBE AND IT IS SOLD AT WALMART..FOR ABOUT $3 AND IT LAST A VERYYYY LONG TIME..TRUST ME ON THIS ONE..YOU DONT WANT TO USE ANY OF THESE OTHER LOTIONS OR MOISTURIZING ITEMS ESPECIALLY NOT WITH OATMEAL AND SMELLS AND ALL THAT WHICH MAY IRRETATE YOUR SKIN AND MAY CAUSE YOU TO BREAK OUT.

keep away from anything with too many chemicals or scents! stick with jergens unscent lotion, it's about $1 for a huge thing of it and it works great. I used it on my ink and it still looks brand new 1.5 years later.

I wouldn't use anything with a scent or anything. My tattoo artist recommends Lubriderm unscented or any other moisturizer that is unscented. They don't recommend vaseline or anything like that.

The best cream to use is Kerrs unscented. I have used other creams, but this one beats them by far.
