Apparently God of the Bible likes to send messages. In olden days when the typical message was transmitted by messenger, God used a messenger.

However, today typical messages are sent via email. It seems like an omnipotent God could function at least as well as the spam generators in Nigeria. Sadly, they run rings around God in getting messages out to the masses.

So if God exists, where's the email from God?

Billboards and through others still means your God is using an outmoded, indirect form of communication through an imperfect messenger. Even the "heart" (I hate that metaphor) can be misleading. Ask Bush about Iraq.

I'm talking about God being direct and articulate, just as articulate and direct as you would be with your spouse, parents or children, when it really counted. You can do it. Nigerians can do it. If God exists, why can't God?

There is no outside force or agency that determines the outcome of mankind's existence. Therefore God does not answer emails. Because God does not exist.

How do you know that god wanted to send messages. Which messenger did god use? Maybe god can't afford to buy a PC to send e-mails to.

Maybe he does? Hard to tell really. Unless he put in the subject box: From God then it would be really hard to tell for sure. But perhaps he uses his angels to send out emails to people.
God could perhaps use people to send emails by inspiring people to send emails to people also. God works in many mysterious ways!

Edit: To answer you other question, even if you didn't like the one I already put.sorry! :( You can do it. Nigerians can do it. If God exists, why can't God? The truth is God isn't forceful on us to make us believe in Him. He won't reveal himself unless you prayed to him. There needs to be some effort on your part also. I have had God talk to me and he does communicate with me. I have been wanting to understand certain things in the Bible that didn't make sense to me. But over time they did.. it clicked in my head. It is hard to explain to someone but, that is how he is. Pray to him and ask him that you want him to talk to you. Give him time, and he will. Keep your heart open and kind while praying.

Okay, if you got an e-mail from God, you would think it's an imposter...correct? I would. He send you messages all the time, not in e-mail, but in life. If you are doing wrong, he will try an show you by making your life misrable in some way.

You could also ask why God does not use the telephone, or a cell phone, or the new iPhone! Better yet, does God have "dial-up" or DSL?

Us christians don't need email to contact God we just go direct with prayer. A truly open heart will hear God speaking back perhaps not the way you wish but it's the way God wishes. I have just prayed that one day you hear His voice.

I received a message from God yesterday on my computer E-Mail. Now, granted, my cousin sent it to me, but I heard what the message was, so she was the messenger. Maybe you aren't ready yet.
