I have Windows Vista Ultimate and i seem to not be able open some programs or use features. I cannot open Windows media player 11, AIM 6(AOL Instant Messanger). I also cannot click on certain links in IE7 on certain websites. I have tried to uninstall windows media player but have been unsuccesful in doing so. I have looked at files like mp3 and videos and see that they are assosiated with Windows media player. I have repaired the OS and recovered the pc 3 time. Can anyone give me some suggestions on this please.

If need be i can be contacted at: tjmaxxstar430@msn.com

Thanks In advanced!

Did you run the Vista Advisor before installing? Some programs will not work with it and the Advisor would have given you a report.

sounds like either too many programs running or a hardware problem, in that you do not have the hardware needed to run ultimate, and as you posted your e-mail addy shows you do not know what your system is capable of.
