Well, you're almost there. If you'll take your head the rest of the way out of your butt you'll see things a lot more clearly.

Genesis 1:6 Then God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters." 7 Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. NKJV

The dictionary says firmament is the arch of the sky. Therefore heaven is above the ground in the sky. Notice firmament means the arch of the sky indicating that the earth is round, how long was it before the scholars figured out the earth was round? The waters that were above the firmament were the ones that came down in Noah's day. The earth used to be like a terrarium. Hope this helps.

On the other side of the coin, Some religious people believe the earth is 4,000 to 6,000 years old because the Bible says, The Bible was first printed in the king James version in 1611. The Bible says the earth is the center of the universe, It's not. Man kind has always believed in many Gods through the years and it was because of lack
of knowledge about what was.

Heaven is spiritual and therefore cannot be seen and located by man even with the existence of very advance technology. It's foundation is our belief that people who died without sin or who repented before he died will go straight to heaven and stay there with the Almighty. But, this is only our belief and we hold on to this. Nobody who went there, came back and prove its existence. We just believe it's there.

But for some other people heaven is figurative and may be here in earth especially when your happy and contented.

In the New Testament, Jesus says, "I go and prepare a place for you so that where I am, you can be also." I believe this is as close as one can come to speculating with assurance that Heaven is a place, that it is prepared for and that it most certainly is with God. When, where, why, which and how might remain mysteries, but the who is literally spelled out for us. We get little tastes of Heaven on earth once in awhile, but to experience total peace, love, joy and lack of sorrow or worry would definitely have to take place elsewhere.

Heaven is far above "the heavens" Which Show our Stars and Moon. Heaven Has "No" Stars In Front Of It In The Sky. I am glad you at least Believe in God, Other wise, You are very Mixed up. If You Didn't Believe in God, You will wish you did. ( NO MONKEY'S or FISH>>>>PLEASE)! (smile) + + +

If I believe in such a thing I'd say it was a place not in this universe. Either a paraller dimension or a pocket between two worlds.

But personally I don't believe in heaven as it is described in the bible.

What's so silly about monkeys and humans having a common ancestor millions of years ago? I don't get it.

But we tend to think of heaven as more a state of being than a physical place. So it's not necessarily "somewhere."

Hope this helps!

Honestly, as of this writing it is also my question. I am a believer in god too. But one can really answer such question if someone who is dead and ressurrected after death and tell us i have been there. Humans must have personal knowledge for them to believe. It will really continue to remain as a mystery.
