It's neither. It's your brainwashing telling you what to think. Dreams come from your own mind. Not from your god or the boogie man.

That would depend on the dream, and the way you feel.

Sometimes you see things through God's eyes in a dream, it's basically a warning to change before these bad things happen if they are bad things.

If it's Satan you can usually get the feel of it, but so many
different types of dreams and it's meanings.

If you keep this in mind always, that perhaps it can be Satan, being open that way..... but God is always in your front sights, Satan can only try an confuse you, but not defeat you...if God is always in your heart, God should always be first, never give up and trust in God.

if you have to ask I think it would not be from God..In my experiences,God has never come to me in my dreams,I think your dreams are just that, things your subconscious comes up with,,although they seem real..but I have had premonition dreams..so who's to say? I once had a lovely dream about a large victorian type house with acres of property behind it,I walked to the back of the field and could look back and see the house,I felt like I had seen the house somewhere before. The property in the back had an old cemetery with very old gravestones, not large, but it was unkempt, like it had been there a very long time, some of the stones had 1700 dates on them...well..the next day 2 men came to my door, well dressed in suits, and ask me if I would be interested in purchasing cemetery plots...and that has never happened before or since..I wonder if they were angels, and God was telling something..But I think when God wants us to know something,he tells us right out, either thru someone, the Bible,or other ways of communication.
I use to live in a house in Louisiana, that I know was haunted(that's another story),but I opened my Bible one morning and asked God if I should stay or move out...I can't remember in the Bible now(it's been 20 yrs.ago)where it was,but the first verse I put my finger on was something like "pack your bags and leave this place" If you ask he will give you the answers.

As for the visions I have at times, all I get that can be supernatural (not of me) I put it all before God and ask for a confirmation and an interpretation. Each time it is from God, I get the confirmation and the interpretation (it may take time though)

For instance a vision I had when living in Toronto in 1996, and couldn't understand, in 2003, a pastor living in africa which I just met on the www, emailed me with the vision he had (my vision he had) and the interpretation, and it was to the point.

All my visions that are from God do come to pass. If not from God they don't. Satan plays tricks on us and loves to imitate God but God will give us confirmation if it is from Him and the interpretation. They are never random, never for nothing but have a true meaning and a precise use that will be revealed in good time. Turn to Him for discernment and knowledge between true and foe.

You can see how it happened to me on my testimony page:

By the feeling you get from it, a dream about what Satan wants you to see can be good feeling but you can't really explain how you'll feel after you have a dream from God, trust me, I know exactly what I'm talking about.

I had a dream that I toured a house I never saw in my life. It was a nice big house and the basement was finished. I was laying in bed, in the basement, and I looked to my right and there was a narrow door, with a sign above it. (While I was dreaming, I read the sign very clearly and it said "God..." I wish I could remember the rest of it. But it's been a long time since I dreamt this.
While I was reading this sign, there was a man to my right. And I said to him that I was tired and was going to sleep. He didn't say nothing to me. And of course I woke up.

I believe this was a dream that God was talking to me. And any other kind of dream that is scary, or causes you to be afraid, nervous, cause doubts about God, or your religion..(trying to make you stop having faith), is Satan working his hardest! Ignore those dreams and ask God to keep you close to him while you are sleeping!

You have to test the spirits in your dreams. If you are one of the types of people who knows you are dreaming when you are having one, ask the spirit or spirits in your dream to confess the Christ. If they say that Jesus is the Christ, then they are from God. If they cannot make that confession, then they are demonic.

Also, if you are a Christian, you know the voice of your Master, Jesus Christ. Sometimes you may have to look deep down inside of your heart, but you do know it.

It would take up way too much space, here, to tell you about a certain dream God sent me. But, if you want to hear about it, and know the interpretation that God gave me, click on my avatar and send me an email when you get to my profile. Peace.

If you have nightmares, or end up being around a being that you feel strong evil, or you are harrased that is from satan, I would know. From God, if you feel peace, calm, love, not stress, it is from God. Satan comes to kill steal and destroy. I have had visions and dreams from Jesus and have them written down in my jornel and kept in my draw. So the bottom line is satan comes as an angel of light and is is not long before you see his true colours and he cannot keep understanding for long. I should now. I came face to face with a real fallen angel and he was ok at first as I was not looking at him but when I did I knew I had to get out of there, becasue the presence of eveil was the strongest I have ever felt. Jesus came to my rescue supernaturally. Remeber satan comes to kill, steal and destroy..

dreams usually mean nothing and if they are from God you will know it and not have to ask. also satan is a wimp! He can only do what God alows him to do to bring about and actually fufil God's plan. He is powerless!
