Is there snow in Alps in October?

Hey, I'll be in europe for three weeks in October and I would love to go shred somewhere, I know High Tatras aka "Tatry" (Slovakia/Poland Mountains)won't have snow yet, but what about Alps? And If not, is there any other place?

In the high Alps there are glaciers, and permanent snow.

i think they will have snow in the alps

I would think so. And high up, there's probably always snow
