You can't write a jingle to that tune and sell life insurance. But your father is right. We are all born to die and when we are conceived we grow and grow and age and die. "Well those of us to be so lucky to live a long life." Like a tree starts out as a seed and becomes decomposed sawdust. We return to the Earth that we have put into our bodies. Just think you may have eaten something that was grown where at one time a dinosaur roamed. Or a caveman drew a picture. You have ingested the past and someday so will your predecessor. But have faith that living is a great gift and dying is just the end of that great gift of life. A journey we all cannot stop and should openly accept.

It's the "Circle of Life" sweetheart. We are born into this world to have children, grow old, then die. That is our job, our purpose, to continue life as we know it. So, what your father is saying is true. When you are born, you are born only to die. Because No one lives forever. So, take each day and live it to the fullest, as if it were your last day alive, and embrace each moment, and each smile! Life certainly isn't a mystery, when you accept what your father told you is true.

In that context, yes. Our tissues start oxideising as soon as they develope. But it'll be a long, drawn-out death:) So don't worry about it. You also have to remember that out tissues create NEW cells every few seconds to replace the ones that are dying. We are constintly dying and yet growing.

You have a chance to live the time you are allowed by the lifestyle choices that you make.

You are born into this world to live, not wait to die.
So go live a wonderful life and tell about it.
Think positive.

yep you born and then i guess theres only one ending...
or you d say your born and you develop and grow and then when you reach maturity and when regeneration slows you are begining to die.

yes as soon as you are born (actualy the moment you are conceived) your cells start duplicating, and as they duplicate the DNA wears down, and eventually your body cant make protiens correctly and.... you die
