I think they're a more devoted faction of Christianity. I do not have a good opinion about Christianity, so I generally think they're just another group of extremists and fanatics who promote a faith from the Middle East, the bloodiest and most repressive place on Earth. Seek the gods of your anscestors, child.

The popular opinion is that people hate them. They find them annoying. They think they push their religion on you.
My personal opinion is quite different. I have run into several mormons and I have never felt like I was pressured at all. I've always had pleasant conversations with them. There are times I will talk about our faiths with each other, but always say I'm interesting in learning, not conversion. They've always welcomed those discussions. There are other times I have said I'm not interested in talking and they kindly let me be.
In reality, I wish more Christians were like Mormons. Not necessarily that they go door to door, but that they are as respectful of other faiths and respect people's wishes to either learn or not.

OK usually I don't get upset by the comments people make about our religion. But I am so sick of defending this. here are some facts for you all that maybe you do not know about Mormons. WE ARE NOT POLYGAMISTS!!!! and those people that coming knocking on your door are called missionaries. and not everyone goes on a mission, and they mainly do it for their own spiritual uplifting. So if you are a nice person, and you are not interested just kindly decline their offer to you, but don't be so close minded about everything.

I don't want to say what it is, but in general it could be a lot better if they didn't come knocking at the door in such a pushy way. The best Mormons i have known are those who have left the church for reasons of conscience. They tend to be delightful people, when they have jettisoned their superiority complex.

I can't speak for others, but after having spent many wonderful times in Utah, I can honestly say that I've never met a Mormon I didn't like.

I generally like them about the same as I like Christians and Muslims. Maybe a little better. I might pee on one if he was on fire, if I needed to anyway, a Mormon.

The same I have toward any good people..They are trying to walk in the light of what they know...To live a good, decent life and teach their children well. I don't consider them Christians,,,but I do think they are good people.
The don't accept Jesus as their Savior....

I cannot speak for "people", only for "person"...namely...ME.
I have a two dear friends who are Mormon. I am not Mormon, and do not agree with their doctrines.
I am still, however, their friend, and do not argue religion with them. They know how I feel, and do not try to convert me. They have heard the truth, and I am not going to change them. That is up to God.
I do pray for them...that is all I can do.
