Evolution is simply the evidence-explained description of the creation of species via natural selection over time, where the most well-adapted mutations more successfully reproduced, and with changes in environments, and variations in migration, caused different species to develop. If that qualifies as a religion, than so does gastronomy.
Evolution is so well documented and so well predicts the state of our biological connectedness, there is no doubt in science that its basic premise is true. Even Michael Behe, the Intelligent Design biologist who testified in Dover, PA court case, has admitted that evolution is probably the mechanism that God used, but points to limited numbers of species that he cannot figure out why they evolved in the way they did. (Behe's imagination appears to be more directed toward figuring out how God does things than exploring how nature works.)

evolution is not a religeon but a part of the religeon since we must know who created this whole universe & each and every thing in it then it would be easy for us to follow the instructions of that mighty LORD Or GOD. Evolution is a lie concocted to distract the people from the Truth that Odin created the Heavens and Earth from the body of the slain frost giant, Ymir.

Evolution is not a religion. No deity, just observation and analysis. Reproducible experiments are not a hallmark of religion.

People will worship anything. (Even Scientology)
As much as i hate to admit it, faith is the quintessential defining quality of humanity, both our greatest strength and weakness...I'm not necessarily referring to a faith in God, but rather a faith in what can only be described as illogical. Indeed, religion itself is the only catalyst for irrationality, if you think about it.

When you say "evolution," what are you referring to? I have three definitions of the word:
1. change over time
2. changes within species due to environmental changes, natural selection, or breeding. (macroevolution)
3. changes from simpler to more complex life forms (macroevolution)
I believe in the first two, but not the third. There's no proof in the fossil record for macroevolution.

i do. it's the most ridiculous thing i ever heard. i don't think evolution is a religion at all. i think it was created by a drunk scientist and people were stupid enough to follow him.
