Make some time. Church is a place to go to build ur spirit. Try not too stay away too long. It's kinda like medicine (to use a poor example). Some people only take medicine when they feel bad. They take it for a little while, til they feel better. Then stop taking it, until they feel bad again, when really they should take it every day to live, grow, and prosper.

You don't have to go to church all the time, and definately not to please the congregation, just enough to keep ur spirit uplifted. God is with you, where ever you go.

The New Testament says "forsaking not the assembling of yourselves together" and that is church. I have gone and I have not gone. God places ministers in the churches to provide our spiritual food. Paul plainly speaks on this topic and how the church will be set up. I didn't say it, God did. Go for spiritual food when you can even if once a month. It is refreshing (if you find the right church - you will know it when you find it).

It is my personal opinion that God is a father figure to us. I don't go to church on a regular basis either, I am also very busy, But I feel lik God isnt going to punish us for it, he might not like some of the things we do, but he will always Love us. He is understanding and trustworthy. I think you could just pray and tell him why you don't go to church. I just feel as though he is a father, a parent. He Loves you no matter what.

No, in fact the church concept was developed late. The original gatherings were informal affairs but far more personal and intimate. It's good to gather with other believers, but the pretentiousness of "Churches" in the sense of buildings is an abomination.

The bible says that where ever 2 or 3 of you are gathered in my name there also I will be. So it's not wrong to not to go to church for church is just a building.

You are the Church, dear. God looks upon your Heart and says to Worship Him in Spirit and In Truth......(The church is a Building.) However, If at all Possible, You are to assemble yourself with other Christians on the Sabbath. It isn't Possible for some to go to church, so they get their Spiritual Food From T.V. Or Radio Or Tapes and Etc. We Need Our Spiritual Food To Stay Strong........(smile) Just so we get It.........

No, its not wrong, ie, a sin. But the Bible does say not to forsake the gathering of yourselves together. Remember that the church is not a building that you go in to sing pretty songs and hear someone talk. We, the body of Christ, ARE the church. We are supposed to fellowship with each other to encourage and strengthen each other. God wants us to do that, but NOT for Him, for US. So if you can't attend service, might I suggest a bible study or a fellowship group at a church where they teach the Bible and where you feel your spirit is fed.

Well a lot of Protestant Church's believe that you have to go to church but that is because the reverends have family's and they need money and its their job for making a living but I'm Roman catholic and according to my religion you don't have to go to church Christ never said there will be a thing in the future called church and you must always go he never said that but priests cant get married or have children and they don't get paid their family their brothers and sisters give them just about enough money to buy food they cant really buy real expensive goods or anything because they are meant to commit there lives to god and helping their community and caring about people and forgiving their sins not just go around saying god will never forgive now give me $10 that's what a Reverend would say but going to church is one way of praising God when if you want just live your life and be happy that's a way of praising God because God just wants you to be happy and in the bible it says ''For God loved the world so much he gave His only begotten Son,that whoever believes in him Shall not perish but have everlasting life so once you believe in Christ and that he was the son of God no matter what sins you commit you are guaranteed to go to heaven and you will always be forgiven for your sins and im Catholic and i dont go to church i only do sometimes

If it's important to you, you will somehow make time. Church does not always have to be sunday mornings from 9 to 10. You can join a Bible Study or look for a community of other believers online that you can visit when you have time.

I come from a large extremely religious family, I don't necessarily agree a brick building called a church is where your true God is. Live the word, and that doesn't mean going to some gossip filled church meeting, and paying tithes to pay off the pastors Mercedes. Be a good example of what God wants.
