I'm 17 years old and I've been working at this place for a month now, and I've given thought into putting in a 2 weeks notice but I have way too much to do before school gets here. I am scheduled tomorrow and Sunday. Is this letter okay to give to them tomorrow? I don't need them as a future reference, that's why I don't mind quitting without the 2 weeks.

Attention: Manager

Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to work with you and ____. I apologize for the short notice. Unfortunately, the demands of preparing for school prevent me from continuing to maintain my current work schedule.

Regretfully, therefore, I must hereby offer a notice of my resignation. My last day with ___will be August 7th, 2007.

It has been a pleasure to work with you and your team at ___. Thanks again.

Thanks,
_____

Ideally 2 weeks notice is best so that they can get someone to replace you, but sometimes things don't work out that way.
Your letter of resignation sounds good except for the closing part. Instead of using "Thanks" I would use Thank you or Sincerely. It sounds more professional.

3 Days isn't very much time; but I'm sure they'll understand. Very good resignation letter by the way.
