Yes, they can make a dog sick. My pit bull recently ate one she found in the yard- they seem to grow up overnight- and she got diarrhea and threw up. Since she wasn't violently ill, I gave her pumpkin pie filling after the first three or four episodes of diarrhea and a few bouts of throwing up. I also got her some pedialyte (for babies) and gave it to her. She got better real quick but was not up to her full frisky self for a few days. So now I watch her carefully and check the grounds before walking her.
I'd definitely say go to a Vet or talk to an E.R. Vet on the phone so you can see what they recommend you do. Mine is a two yr old dog and yours is a pup and might get sicker.

Yes, some mushrooms are extremely toxic. We had a client with a very expensive great dane puppy eat a mushroom a couple of months ago. We had him take the pup to the University vet school, but they weren't able to save him. Take this seriously and seek veterinary care right now! Then leash walk the pup until the mushrooms are totally gone.

Mushrooms are the "flowers" of underground fungus growing and consuming organic materials such as dead tree roots. The fungus is turning the material into nutrients for the soil and other plants. To eliminate the fungus, you'd have to dig down and remove whatever the fungus is working on. If it's a sizeable tree root, great, but if it is pockets of organic material such as manure, that will be impossible. Fairy ring is a fungus common to lawns. The fungus is working on the soil organic matter. Each season the ring gets a bit wider as it explores new material. Problem is the fungus is so tight, it excludes water from entering the soil so in addition to the mushrooms, you get dead spots. For the dead spots, take a soil probe that attaches to the hose end and stick into the dead areas and turn on the water, forcing water through the fungus' mycellium. For the mushrooms, mow them, pick them or ignore them. If you have Fairy ring and the lawn has the distinctive rings, keep the lawn well fertilized to hide the rings.

it could be that shes eating either the mushrooms or grass,if dogs have an upset stomach, they will eat grass to make themselves get sick, its very common, take her to your vet along with the mushroom that she ate,the vet can tell you what kind of mushroom it was and the treatment for the dog.make sure the dog is drinking plenty of water, she needs to stay hydrated, and give her a lot of TLC.

Yes, very sick, because those "little white mushrooms" you're talking about are toadstools and poisonous. Get them up out of the ground as fast as you find them, or your puppy could easily die.

Sounds like poisioning. Put a mushroom in a tupperware and get your dog to the vet PRONTO! It could be serious or it could not but timing is key right now.

No, you can just clean and remove them as soon as you see them. Sometimes they grow if it rains and other times they are the urine of some animals around your house. We do have white mushrooms in our yard especially when it rains. We have no puppies but we have one dog and he urinate sometimes in the yard and when it rains his urine will develop into small mushrooms. These mushrooms are dirt.
