try using the remoisturizing tresemme conditioner. me & 2 friends used it, and we all saw amazing results in just the first use. it was seriously like a miracle. it made our hair super shiny, soft, and it had an awesome long lasting scent. it also helped our hair with frizz. and dont use anything from pantene. that'll make anyones hair worse. get treseme anywhere for $4.

heres some other tips for maintaining healthy hair:
eat a good diet.

get your hair trimmed regularly to prevent split ends.

NEVER bleach your hair. that will kill it. dying hair is ok. it wont do that much damage.

after you go swiming at the beach or in a pool, its realy important that you wash your hair twice in the shower before you go to bed. and make sure to generously condition it each time.

use a product that will help protect your hair from heat while heat styling. i would recommend using sunsilk (purple kind) detangling thermashine spray. it detangles, maes your hair super shiny, and it protects it from heat. you can get it anywhere for $3.

or you can get a hair product thats a smoothing creme and in the meantime it has UV protection in it. exposing your hair to the sun too long can also cause damage.

once a week, do hot oil treatments. this keeps the scalp nourished, and makes your hair unbeleivably shiny and soft.

its ok to wash your hair everyday as long as you generously condition it. if you dont condition it, then it could get seriously damaged.

brushing your hair alot is actualy healthy. just, please, dont over do it.

if you put some hair product on your hair the day before, dont put more without washing it first. it'l leave build up, flakes, and it'l make your hair look greasy.

Well I would ask a Professional about the straightener issue, but to keep your hair looking healthy you should eat food with lots of B-vitamins, especially B-12 vitamins.

-Use a good mosturizing shampoo and conditioner like herbal essences hello hydration or pantene
-Do weekly hot oil treatment using olive oil. This will nourish the scalp and stimulate healthy hair growth.
-Use hair mask 3 times a week. The best ones are Neutrogena triple moisture, elvive by loreal and deep fortifying treatment by pantene. All these will mosturise your hair making it soft and smooth for a healthy and shiny look.

I have the same type of hair. I use a good shampoo and then a leave in conditionar with UV protection - Paul Mitchell Skinny Smooth. I don't blow dry my hair or use irons on my hair, or use any other products on it. I also wash it every other day. Washing everyday strips your hair of natural oils and makes it brittle.

Do not apply any heat to it. Use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Get a good leave in conditioner. Do not dye your hair and if you have damaged ends keep them trimmed. Eat well and Exercise.

try going poopoo in your hands and rub it all over your hair..it really works! it may sound a little too extrem but it works!
