what are some good military schools that you don't have to be a wix to get in?

i still have a few more years before i graduate and i want to join right after highschool, i won't be old enough and my parents are dead against it...my alternative is a military school...but i can tell you right now i won't get into something like west point.

There's the Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina and Virginia Military Institute. The former school provided the cadets who fired on Fort Sumter to start the Civil War. The latter school has provided excellent military leaders throughout the history of the nation. Last, but not least, is Texas A&M in Texas.
