Yes, I like studying humans. And while people can be similar in some ways, there is always at least one exception.

In college I did a psychology experiment in human behavior.

Over the course of 4 days 2 hours I rode up and down elevators in downtown Phoenix Arizona.. I chose what is now known as The Chase Tower (formerly The Bank One Tower and before that Valley Bank Tower built in 1972) as my research building.. I used the local elevators (the elevators that stop on all 40 floors rather than the express elevators that don't start stopping until floor 20 and up)..

For 2 days I would step onto an elevator and instead of facing the door I would face the other people standing directly in front of the door recording peoples nervous twitches.. I.E. scratching their nose, looking at the ceiling shuffling from foot to foot. looking at their watch repeatedly etc.

I spend 2 days riding elevators standing at the back of the car facing the same direction as everyone else.. once again recording the nervous twitches..

There was a 467% increase in nervous twitches when I was not facing the door like all others..

My research into the effects of standing facing riders and starting conversation was cut short as within 2 hours I was asked to leave the building and escorted out due to peoples complaints to security regarding my presence..

Yes, observing people and their reactions is very interesting especially when you introduce a variable that is out of the ordinary..

Of course I like to study human behavior. I learned to love this study and it became my minor...psychology.

I disagree with you about everyone being the same! We are all so uniquely different.

Weird characteristics? Many! Go to your nearest mall, sit for a few, then come back and tell us the oddities and complexities of humans. Better yet, go to a home for the mentally challenged....you will learn much!

The simplest...watch a baby playing with its toys. Put another child down with the baby and the toys. That is a study all its own!

ya, most guys like to pretend they are alot smarter than they actually are. They constantly try to "prove" that they know something but it's all just useless nonesense that doesn't escalate to anything. It all means nothing to noone. Most guys just like to be the big show, give the illusion that "they know it all".

And most girls expect too much. They expect more than they should in a relationship, they want their "man" to be "perfect" in every sense cos anything less would not suffice. They expect their guy to know all the right words and how to say them, they expect him to know everything she is thinking and they expect him to have all the answers. Or, a girl will come across a guy and expect to have him figured out on the spot, they think all guys are the same and also expect them to act the same, but when they come across a guy that is different than most they... get scared.

I agree, many people are very similar to one another, but that's because everyone has a fixed idea on what life is all about... most people think having friends and be well-liked by as many people is the most important thing in the world so they'll figure out what it is people like about them and they will continue doing that over and over until they become a "pro" at being themselves (or whatever personality they project) and that's all they will care about... what other people think of them. They will also >>act<< like their favorite celebrity or role model, and they'll keep acting like said idol over and over until they lost all sense of themselves.

They will only do what they believe is "cool" to everyone else and deny themselves of what they truly want to do or be to the point where they don't even know what it is they want to aspire to be. Many people (especially my age: 20) don't even know what they want to do with their lives, so they spend their days and money just trying to maintain that "popularity" they wanted so badly.

Alot of guys end up wasting away at the bar and alot of girls end up in abusive relationships because of this. But there are plenty of proper and successful people who raise good families... but now that the media has more influence on children than most parents do, young teens start picking up on this "popularity is the only important thing" vibe at an early age... so i guess... we'll just see where this all goes.

I've always made it a point to be myself... so i know for a fact there is no one else out there anything alike me.

In these times it is very difficult to find a truly good human to study!

I spent more than half of a very long lifetime studying the workings of and working with humans. There's not much new anymore. They don't even taste good. I like my closet.

Yeah, I really love studying humans. A lot.

And yeah, I think they must be hardwired ..... maybe 100 different models.

It becomes tedious after awhile. You reach a point in your studies where you become almost clairvoyant. People are easy. Now birds, they are a challenge.

It may be that you are confused. You may be seeing similarities where they don't exist. It seems you have that tendency. For example "there" and "they're" are very different words and yet you confuse them both with "their."
