I think that 2,000 years after a death of a life, we are putting too much blame and hatrid on people for something that they didnt do. Some christians do not like jews because they believe that they killed jesus. I believe otherwise, but, even if they did kill jesus, DOES IT MATTER!

does not the very bible you preach say in Ezekiel 18:20 it states, "The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him."

So, i myself did not kill jesus (i am jewish), so why does everyone always have to note how i killed jesus? i really think that people should practice what they preach. I dont know jesus, but i bet that he wouldnt want people to hate others for thousands of years because he died. he would want everyone to be happy and peaceful together.

i guess i just wish that people would just judge a person not by their religion or race. and not by the relationship that their ancestors once had. please just get to know a person, then judge them. i believe that if everyone could think like this, we would all live in harmony.

If Jesus came back today he would be locked up in a mental institution in the Wes,t as he would challenge the powers to be. IN many other countries he would be executed.

Did the Jews do it. Jerusalem from what I understand was a cultural melting pot of cultures at that time, so the Jews can't be solely blamed. The fact is the majority ruled and condemned that which threatened their political economic structure.

From the perspective of Christianity Jesus died for our sins, so if THE Jews are to be blamed, then they are also to be thanked for fulfilling Gods plan. DOES IT MATTER NO ! Humans only feel content when they can fear and hate other peoples. Through history Christians hated Jews, now they love Jews and hate Islam. Once Jews hated Christians but loved their Islamic neighbours. Now they hate them. As the song goes "WHEN WILL THEY EVER LEARN"

I'm Christian and agree with you. Jesus loves the Jews more than anyone else and they're still the chosen ones that will be grafted back into the vine one day. He took the gentiles as an afterthought. We can't blame the German people for hitler, nor today's white's for slavery. Great thoughts on your part.
The Bible is an inspired history book, it says the Jews killed Jesus.and he didn't hate them for it. Neither should anyone else.

It was Satan who got the Jews and the Romans to kill Jesus. They were willing, and Jesus permitted it to be done to him.

Satan was judged immediately for his part in the crime. He was left powerless and desolate, and is soon to be history.

The Jews received their judgment at the hands of the Romans in 70 AD ... and that was effectively the end of their kingdom and their religion ... except for those who chose to become Christians.

The Romans received their judgment at the hands of the barbarians in the late 5th century ... and if it was not for the Catholic Church, and the huge number of Romans who converted to Christianity before and after the fall of the empire, Italy would probably no longer exist, either.

We'll all be judged by God for our sins at some point, unless we choose to escape that judgment by swearing faithful allegiance to Jesus Christ ... Jews and Muslims included.

There is no other way ... so there is no other peace.

It does not matter who killed Jesus. People that say the Jews killed Jesus are anti-Semites who are looking for an excuse for their bigotry. They want to blame an entire race for the "possible" actions of a few thousands of years ago. These are the same people who say they shouldn't have to pay blacks in America reparations for slavery because they never owned slaves personally. They fail to see the irony .
Your point about not judging an entire race reminds me of one of my favorite quotes "When you judge people, you have no time to love them." - Mother Teresa

It does matter. God love the world so much he sent his only begotten son in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life...the very ones he sent his precious son to...KILLED HIM...THEY CALLED FOR HIS DEATH AND WERE HANDED OVER TO THEM.
The Jews knew the holy writings..Jesus even proved who he was but quoting scripture after scripture to them. And those scriptures were familiar to them for all the prophecies pointed to that time, that place and that man......they just didn't want to lose their jobs so they did away with him.

They enjoyed the favor from the Romans more than they loved God.

So YES it DOES matter...they were rejected as a religion...although if any want to believe in Christ as the savior they can be saved.

If was a prophecy that he had to die. I don't think anyone blames Jews for Jesus death. They were cast off as God's people opening the way for the rest of us. For that we are grateful.

This "Does it really matter?" seems to be the latest fad up here, and I am willing to bet, it represents the mindset of a good deal of the population.

Yes. It does matter, because as humans, we should always be seeking facts, not speculation. I hope you don't apply similar principles to your taxes.

Jeus was killed by a roman soldier called Will, from Britain (aka Gaul), who nailed him to the cross.

Will has been cursed ever since and thats why we always hear the cry go up, "Fire at will".

Thats all you need to know.

Actually we all killed Jesus. We could not be righteous and holy. So He came to save us from our just condemnation.
I am as guilty as any Jew or Roman Governor.
