what should i do? she was chasing a wasp and then she tried to catch it by biting it, but when she did catch it, it stung her inside her mouth. she went crazy and started rubbing her head in the grass like crazy.. i got her to drink some water after she calmed down..and now she just wants to lie down. i can tell the sting is still hurting her. what do i do? do i just leave her alone, does it heal by itself?

GO TO YOUR VET. You never know with dogs, stay on the safe side.

Not much you can do except watch for signs of a serious allergic reaction - trouble breathing and swelling in places other than the sting site. If it is an external sting you can use ice, but that won't work here.

My friend's dog got stung just above her eye the other morning. It looked terrible but by the time we got home, the swelling was going down. I had Benadryl ready but she ended up not needing it.
Check the dosage before you give that to your dog. Maybe call your vet and ask them what to do - ?

I it will heal by itself, just give it alittle bit of time. i once had a dog who would catch bees for fun, and they would sting him all the way down his throat, but it's really nothing to be concerned about because it will heal up.... just takes a little time....

^You need to take her to the vet, as soon as possible, she needs to be checked out. The stinger can still be in her mouth, if it is it could become infected. I hope she's better soon. Good luck I hope this helps.

Watch her closely. You should call your local vet's and let them know what has happend and how she's behaving. You don't want to let this go too long because you don't know what sort of reaction she may have.
