Science fiction is pretty good, I read a lot of science fiction books I am currently rereading a lot of Robert Heinlein books.. I am just finishing Friday.. Trying to decide if I should read Stranger In a Strange Land or The Unpleasant Profession of Jonathan Hoag next or maybe I will reread the Earth Children Series by Jean M. Auel...

Who knows I don't have to decide for 56 more pages so sometime this evening..

I like some science fiction. I'm not as open minded as I would like - but I keep reading and listening to try and learn more and open up the mind that bit more.

It's all I read.
Don't know if I have an open mind - or like leaving and visiting other worlds, or timelines of our Earth.
I bought into all the plans and models of moon bases and space travel - and to live with no real progress from NASA, and countries leadership - all I have left is books (and media).
I feel so lied to sometimes. Back in the 60's the models and plans seemed so possible. Then humanity stuck it's head in the sand and forgot to progress.

Sci-Fi whets the appetite and kindles the imagination like no other. Almost all of it is pure fantasy but the ideas it generates are astounding. It lets you believe for a short time that nothing is ever impossible. The reality is that the only impossibilities are in our own minds. If you don't want it there you just put a thing out of your mind and poof it is gone. POOF!

I love science fiction, actually.
I am a Christian.
Does that mean that my mind is only half open??

A lot of people don't know what good science fiction is, they think it's just about rocket ship technology.
A short answer. I like it, it informs my agnosticism, and entertains my atheism.

No.
I love science fiction, but I am not open-minded, because that would mean that I think all viewpoints are acceptable, which is not true.

LOVE Sci-Fi, especially the older "B" movies, you know the ones where you can see the zipper on the back of the monster, or the strings holding up the 3 extra sets of limbs.

I enjoy it from time to time, I'm an avid reader, and Sci Fi hasn't always been my favorite but when Stephen King delves into it a bit, I LOVE it, a couple of other authors too.
