If you can buy them at pet stores, can you tell me what brand they are as well?

Try online or in pet stores.

Ferret toys are the most commonly used, as the size suits them better than hamster toys. You can get wheels, tubes, ramps, ropes... and loads more. There's many makes. Be prepared to replace some toys, some rats will destroy them more quickly than others, but I wouldn't expect many to last the same time as your rat.

You can also make some toys.. if you look under "make & Do" on here ( http://www.rattycorner.com/ ) as well as on this page ( http://www.rattycorner.com/funstuff/toys.shtml ) and also ( http://www.dapper.com.au/toys.htm ).

Hope these help!

Some pet rats enjoy wheels... I recommend the Wobust Wodent Wheel, which I believe you can buy through petco.com. Most bird toys also work; my rats loved toys with many wooden charms attached by string. Also, I don't remember the brand name but at Petsmart you can buy Pinhata type toys for birds that rats LOVE to rip up. Old paper towel rolls and T-rex brand Chubes are fun. For outside of the cage toys, fill a bin or old box with non-toxic packing peanuts and hide some treats around and let your rats dig around. They'll love it! In the hot summer months, you can also put some peas in a small bowl of water and let your rats go bobbing for peas. Hope this helps!

Rats like to play with almost anything, and most of their 'toys' can be items found around your house. A small paper bag, a toilet paper roll, rope, flower pot, PVC pipe, cardboard box, or anything that they can safely hide in, climb on, or chew on make great rat toys. Commercially available toys are usually too small for rats unless you get the ferret-sized ones. Hammocks are great and easy to make yourself out of some polar fleece. Bird toys can be good for rats, they like the dangly ones, perches, and the wooden jungle gyms. I would also suggest getting two rats of the same gender, as they do much better in pairs and will still bond to you just the same as if you had one. Good luck!

I don't really know the brand, but any petland discounts etc. would have mouse toys. There are these neat little wood sticks covered in mouse/rat food and honey that mine absolutely adored, and it was great for their teeth. Also, how about a mouse/hamster/rat wheel? They all love those! Just make sure it doesn't squeek. It's a pain at night (because they are nocturnal and all). Good luck!

Superpet is one brand that makes small animal toys.
We give our rats cat, ferret & bird toys, especially hard plastic jingly things. They enjoy rolling balls & carrying small items around in their mouths. We also attach treats & chew toys to the walls of their cages, or suspend them from the cage top.
We used to buy ferret hammocks but that gets expensive when they get chewed to pieces so quickly. Now we use squares of inexpensive fabric & clip them to the cage, it's easy to create a kind-of hanging sleeping bag that way. We fold the fabric so they can go between the layers if they want. They also love boxes to play with & sleep in, we usually hang sturdier boxes & just sit tissue boxes on the cage floor.
Our hooded girl's favorite toy is actually the cap from a can of cooking spray. I was using the cap as a food dish during her quarantine but she kept dumping the food out to play with the bright yellow cap. She still has it & has taught our hairless girl to carry it around too.

my rats love their jingly balls and their hammocs, I've seen many cages outfitted with pvc piping for them to nest and hang out it. you can put parrot ladders and shelves in so the can climb around.
