What evidence is there that God exists?

There is no real evidence. People down through to the beginning of human history seem to have believed in the existence of a God or Gods, perhaps because they think that if something is created, there must be a Creator. The entire universe and Earth, physics and strange happenings make it difficult to be sure of anything. I am agnostic. I think that people who are fundamentalists or just regular churchgoers, atheists and agnostics should all be searching for the truth. It is a good quest. Perhaps you will find God, but don't just be tied to one viewpoint; you won't reach any truth that way.

Science is the best evidence for the existence of God. As long as there are things that science cannot explain, cannot duplicate, cannot cure and cannot change there is evidence that God exists. As long as there are miracles or unexplained happenings, cures, conversions attributed to God that cannot be explained by science then God exists. As long as there are babies born into this world innocent and naked there is God. But most of all as long as there is love there is God.

The evidence is the fact that the Hebrew Scriptures tell us Satan the God of this world would deceive the whole world. Rev.12:9.
All the prophets and apostles of the Real Messiah warned that that the world would turn to God worship...so, who is this God? 2 Cor.4:4

The complexity of our planet points to a deliberate Designer who not only created our universe, but sustains it today.

The human brain's complexity shows a higher intelligence behind it.

"Chance" or "natural causes" are insufficient explanations.

To state with certainty that there is no God, a person has to ignore the passion of an enormously vast number of people who are convinced that there is a God.

Unlike any other revelation of God, Jesus Christ is the clearest, most specific picture of God pursuing us.
We know God exists because he pursues us. He is constantly initiating and seeking for us to come to him.

I know I felt this pulling for a long time before I got saved..I would feel guilt at just the mention of the name of Jesus...I didn't have a clue who he was but I knew something was going on there...Have you ever noticed how people who are not saved,,find it hard to say his name...they stumble all over it....They have no trouble with God but there's just something about that name....

Every fact about you could be faked.
You really have to sit down with the guy and get to know him.
And to do that, you need to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I'm an atheist who is tired of either side of the argument that presumes to prove the existence or non-existence of a god(s).

Neither "side" has such proof, nor are any of you likely to present such any time soon. Nor does it matter. The science that we have today does not support the presence of a deity. Nothing in science proves inconclusively the absence of a god(s).

It appears to me that the onus is on proving the existence of a god(s), rather than proving non-existence.

i agree with iluvyoustevie234, when people say **** like "everthing around you", that isn't evidence thats denial, people convincing themselves that god exists, cause they dont want to admit that there is no evidence. People who believe in God are brainwashed from years of church and other people.
