My puppy is 7 weeks going on 8 weeks tomorrow. I have yet to hear hear bark yet. She hears and sees my other dogs barking, but does not seem to do the same. Is she too young to bark?

No she is not to young to bark.Young puppies have squeekey barks.You know evrey dog has a diffrent personality so maybe your puppy is shy.

I remember my dog's first bark. I think she was around 3 or 4 months. So cute! It was like a baby speaking for the first time. Now I can't get her to stop sometimes. Not so cute anymore!

no dog is too young to bark as soon as they open their eyes they start yapping and making little mewing sounds unless there is something drastically rong with her when she finds something to bark at she,ll bark then you,ll be on here asking if anyone knows how to shut her up

she is definately not too young i have heard puppys bark at 2 wks but it is more of a cry and very cute

She can bark, she's just choosing not to. Not always a bad thing.
But prepared for the day she decides to bark, it can be pretty suprising and will turn your head pretty fast. LOL

nope some dogs just don't bark at first.... mine barked when she was little..at my other dog...i know a dog who didn't bark until a neighbor started barking at it and then it started ..lol

Nope, she can bark maybe she just doesn't want to. Trust me thats a good thing. She is fine.

no she is not start to chase her around you'll hear her bark. we had the same problem.
