Are drug runners more likely to be Republican or Democrat?

I think that would be a very good research project for a college sociology class or a political science class.

For every drug runner that is arrested check on their voter registration information or whether they are even registered to vote at all.

They're probably most likely to not have anything to do with politics...

If someone's trafficking cocaine or something, global warming, health care, tax reforms, women's rights etc. probably don't mean anything to them... For the most part, drug runners re not involved in much other than drugs and other illegal activities and usually do the drugs themselves as well. You don't typically find many political crackheads or anything.

If they absolutely, positively had to be one or the other, I guess they'd be democrats because at least they [dems] are lighter on the marijuana issue than are republicans... Although neither of the parties approve of any drugs nor do they support "drug running" in any way...

But I guess they could still have their own political views if they're just trafficking the drugs and not actually screwing up their lives with them... They could still be hardcore supporters of the war and consider themselves republicans, or they could support universal coverage and consider themselves democrats... regardless of the drug running.

Drug running probably doesn't really influence one's political affiliations...

Drug runners and drug pushers,and those that manufacture illegal drugs? They are SCUM BAGS& BASTARDS! The fact that they prey on our young, and those addicted to drugs, make them worse than anything that could crawl out from under rocks!
One of my son's 'friend's slipped some LSD, into a cup of coffee, when he was 14! This led to experimentation into other drugs, leading to an addiction of 'crank'!
Those years of his addiction, were the worst of my life! So those Bastards, should be lined up against a wall, and shot!
AND I DON'T THINK THAT POLITICS, ARE A PRIORITY OF THEIRS!

I doubt drug runners register to vote or care about laws or their lawmakers. They are out to make a buck and to support a habit. Food, medical care,family-all become unimportant to them so your question, to me, is unproductive and irrelevant. Try again to rephrase your question as I sense you hve an issue to communicate.

Because drug runners are more likely to be minorities and minorities for some reason are more likely to be Democrat even though Democrats were the main opposition to making segregation illegal.

Any member of a minority who learns the truth about Democrats... votes Republican.
